Roof Replacement Services

When a roof is beyond restoration — whether due to structural damage, extensive deterioration or an outdated design — a full replacement is the smartest long-term investment. We handle every aspect of the re-roofing process: structural assessment of the existing frame, complete tear-off and disposal of old materials, timber repairs where needed, installation of new sarking, battens and roofing material. Choose from the full range of Colorbond steel profiles (Corrugated, Trimdek, Klip-Lok, Custom Orb) or premium concrete and terracotta tiles. Our team works efficiently to minimise disruption and ensure your home is watertight throughout the process.

Improved Energy Efficiency

Modern roofing materials and sarking significantly improve your home's thermal performance, reducing heating and cooling costs.

Structural Integrity

A re-roof includes a full frame inspection, ensuring any structural issues are identified and rectified before new materials go on.

Modern Compliance

Your new roof will meet current Australian Standards and Building Code requirements, which is especially important if you plan to sell or renovate.

Our Process

1

Structural Assessment & Design

We inspect the roof frame, assess structural integrity, discuss material options and design the new roofing system.

2

Council Approvals (if required)

If your re-roof requires a development application or building approval, we prepare and lodge the necessary documentation.

3

Tear-Off & Disposal

The old roofing material is carefully removed, loaded into skip bins and taken to an approved waste facility for disposal or recycling.

4

Frame Repairs & Sarking

Any damaged rafters, trusses or battens are repaired or replaced. Reflective sarking is then installed across the entire roof.

5

Install New Roof

New Colorbond sheets or tiles are installed with all flashings, ridge capping and penetration waterproofing completed.

6

Final Inspection & Certification

A final inspection confirms compliance with Australian Standards. You receive all warranty certificates and relevant building documentation.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a full roof replacement take?

A standard residential re-roof typically takes 1 to 3 weeks, depending on the roof size, material chosen and weather conditions. We keep your home watertight throughout the process.

Do I need council approval for a re-roof?

In most cases, a like-for-like roof replacement is exempt from council approval. However, if you are changing the material type (e.g. tile to metal) or altering the roof line, approval may be required. We handle this process for you.

Should I choose Colorbond or tiles?

Both are excellent options. Colorbond is lighter, faster to install and comes with a long manufacturer warranty. Tiles offer a traditional aesthetic and superior sound insulation. We will discuss the pros and cons for your specific situation.

What happens to the old roof material?

All old roofing material is removed from site and disposed of responsibly. Metal is recycled, and tiles are taken to an approved facility. If asbestos is present, licensed asbestos removalists handle the process.
